Oh and I'm a HUGE fan of The Great British Bake Off, btw =)
Comments are love.

-Debbie's living room, over the weekend-

"What are you doing there, Sunshine?" Debbie frowns at her favorite blond while she and her granddaughter settle onto the warn out yet comfortable faded brown couch in the living room in front of the TV.

"Yeah, come on, Justin. The show's about to start, You know I'm waiting a whole week for it," JR mentions, leaning back onto one of Debbie's famous decorative couch pillows.

"Here I am, girls," Justin reassures them as he's squeezing his still-slender body next to JR, placing a plate filled with freshly baked cookies on the table. The ten year old girl smiles back at him while she's sandwiched between her beloved grandmother and the blond young man she's lovingly been referring to as uncle Justin from the day she was born even though he's not exactly her uncle but the partner of her dad's old time friend.

For the longest time Justin has been really close with JR's older brother Gus, mainly because Gus is HIS partner's Brian's son and they have been spending many weekends and holidays together. Now as JR gets older Justin finds it utterly charming to spend a bit more time with her as well, especially since both of them share the love of baking AND a somewhat healthy obsession with reality TV cooking competitions. Since Debbie is a self proclaimed avid fan of these kind of shows herself –and since she lives just across the street from where JR lives with her brother and moms- it's only natural for all three extended family members to meet once a week and quench their thirst by watching certain baking competition on TV. JR enjoys it even more because one of the show presenter's shares her name with her mom, Mel.

"Hmm… I LOVE the chocolate orange flavored one, It's really yummi" JR says, as she bites into one of the cookies Justin just brought.

"Thanks, sweetie," Justin beams back but then turns to his phone to take a call.

"I CAN'T talk right now, Brian. I'm over at Deb's.I already told you about that," he tells his partner while both JR and her grandmother playfully roll their eyes at him. "Later…" he finishes off with a smile just in time for the opening credits to roll on screen.

"So today is cookies week," the show presenter explains. Then after a short introduction all the bakers-the contestants who take part in the show- take their place at their work stations while the judges roam around. Debbie, JR and Justin are all glued to the TV in silence ooowin'g and awww'ing at every little comment with sheer delight until JR shrugs suddenly and tags on Debbie's sleeve. "Grandma, did you hear that? Why did Mel ask the lady judge 'Did it pop your cherry, Mary?' I know that the judge 's name is Mary but I don't see any cherries there…"

Debbie chuckles and takes one meaningful look towards Justin. Justin bites his lips and shrugs his shoulders in dismay. He never thought he'd see Debbie so embarrassed in his life, especially since she's been using that very phrase quite a few times back in the day.

"What did she mean, grandma?" JR asks again.

"Well… this show is from England, right? They have different ways of saying certain things over there, you know. I guess the presenter meant to ask Mary if she likes cherries," Justin quickly offers the next best explanation he can think of in a spare of a moment to put a curious ten year old's mind at ease.

-Later that night, Britin-

" So at that point JR just kept asking more and more questions while poor Debbie was literally at her wit's end. Omigod, You should have seen her face. I had to keep finding new ways to explain such remarks as 'There it is looking perfectly stiff' and ‘You want something quite rigid, but something that will taste good, too’ to a ten year old who happens to be Mel and Linds and Michael's kid and Debbie's granddaughter. But then after the presenter said ‘Bakers are doing their best to get an extra inch' and went on with ‘Some of them have got a good forking ' only to finish off with ‘Keep your biscuits erect' I simply couldn't take it anymore," Justin giggle-snorts as he walks out of the bathroom and throws himself in bed next to Brian while giving him a full update on everything that happened earlier that evening at Debbie's, and how he tried to save the day after the cherry popping incident. "It was like that one time when we were all having dinner at Debbie's place and Lindsay asked if we could NOT talk about sex for five minutes but then we couldn't..." Justin can't help but smile.

"What was this show again?" Brian grins while his hand glides across his partner's damp warm bare skin.

"The Great British Bake Off, I told you how I love to watch it with Debbie and JR every week," Justin explains under his breath, letting Brian's tongue find the familiar trail that runs from his nipples to his naval.

"Looks like Pop Michael would never allow his kid to watch these kind of shows with you and grandma Deb any time soon, Sunshine," Brian smirks. "But feel free to introduce ME to more of this interesting premise," he continues.

"Since when are you into that?" Justin teases.

"Since forever, Mister Taylor, " Brian replies, pulling his lips inward. "And by the way you've got a Derriere comme une peche ," he groans, playfully slapping on Justin's perfectly shaped naked ass.

"What's that?" Justin inquires.

"Bottom like a peach," Brian explains in a low velvety voice before flipping Justin on his back.

Haha!! I've learned my lesson (maybe) and read this fic of yours away from the office! LOL The British are a bit tongue in cheek and racy, which is why I love Brit coms so much. Hahahha Poor Deb is in a bit of a pickle, but Brian would love that show! ;)

LOL Good thing you stayed away from your coffee this time ;)
ITA with you about Brits and their sense of humor, esp when you least expect it (like in a baking competition show. ) AND I thought it would be interesting if Debbie would be left speechless this time. Oh and Brian could def find it interesting ;)
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and leave such a lovely supportive feedback. I really appreciate it :)
