Part 5

“You’re right,” Justin concedes. "We do need to talk.”

“That’s the damn truth,” Brian growls. “But we don't have much time. Your hubby must be on his way here by now."

Justin sighs. “Brian, I told you before! He is NOT my ‘hubby.’ I decide what I want to do, not Charles. And I want, no, I need to know more about YOU,” he tells him, trying to change the subject. But his success is short-lived.

"Don't do that, Justin,” Brian scolds him. “Tell me what's really going on.” His gaze is so intense that the blond can feel his face warming over his scrutiny.

Justin nods in resignation, taking another sip from his coffee as he licks his lips nervously. He takes a deep breath before revealing, “I downplayed Charles’ persistence. He’s not one to give up so easily…He doesn't like to lose.”

"Would you mind explaining that?" Brian asks quietly, his pupils darting rapidly back and forth as he stares at Justin’s plump, oh-so-kissable lips and tries hard to focus on the topic at hand, but he’s finding it incredibly difficult.

"Well, you see…Being with you feels so good, so seductive…” Justin reaches his hand across the table to gently caress Brian's lower lip with his fingertips. "You know you don't have to be in control all the time,” he tells him softly.

"Are you trying to cast a spell on me now?" Brian wonders; it was meant to come out as something playful, but he couldn't help thinking if it was the truth. Perhaps he already WAS under this young man’s spell.

Justin smiles sultrily, emboldened as he tells him huskily, his voice lowering, “Well, first I’ll need to get you back into bed, and then I’ll cast my spell.” He gently pushes his fingers into Brian’s partly open mouth as Brian’s mind almost goes blank at the sensation, his cock filling instantly. He feels as if his body is floating in midair, and a wave of unexpected, sweet pleasure floods through him.

"Wait,” Brian suddenly stops him as he pulls Justin's finger out of his mouth. His erection begins to ebb as he tells him, "I can't do it. I can't be drawn into this again. No, not this time… not like this."

"What do you mean?" Justin whispers under his breath, looking disappointed.

"I mean this,” Brian clarifies, keeping his eyes fixed on Justin's.

"I thought you wanted this,” the blond says, his lips drawn downward.

"Don't do that, please,” Brian almost pleads. Fuck. Brian Kinney never had to plead before.

"Don't do what?" Justin replied, his eyes locked on Brian’s. God, the boy must like this kinky game.

"Don't,” Brian responds, barely able to answer. He couldn’t help thinking that the kid wasn't fooling around; apparently he did possess some sort of magical powers. "How did you and Charles meet exactly, anyway?" he asks, quietly caressing Justin's finger.

"It's a long story,” Justin tells him with a wistful smile.

"Those are exactly my favorite kind of stories,” Brian informs him. He scoots back from his chair to extend his hand down to Justin as he grabs his leather jacket and messenger bag. "You're coming home with me tonight,” he announces as Justin allows himself to be pulled up to stand beside him.

"Oh, yeah?" Justin retorts. “What happened to not wanting to get too involved? What happened to ‘no, not this time?’”

"Yeah…" Brian replies as he brushes his hand through his hair and stares over at the beautiful young man who so intrigues him. “I’ve changed my fucking mind,” he abruptly explains just before he bends his head to lock lips with his companion. “To hell with Charles.”
