Part 1

If I had to tell Justin how much I longed for him, how much I wanted him, how much I craved him, all these years, I would only need one line Brian's thought filled his head

He was driving to work on a Monday morning. It was the last day of November. The roads were all black and shiny, because it had rained the night before

The night before. He sighed and smiled to himself, still able to feel Justin's warmth surrounding him when he rolled off him and cuddled into his body with his cock still deep inside of him. Brian reveled in that. Not running away from it was so much better than trying to avoid it.

Brian reached his hand toward his car phone and pressed the speed dial. Justin's voice sounded raspy and sweet, the same as every morning. He still loved to sleep in.

Brian didn't want to spoil the moment, but he had to sound more businesslike, since he wasn't going to fuck it up this time. He wanted everything to be legal. He wanted it to be done the right way, right from the start.

He couldn't wait to get home from work that day.

That evening, after they showered and had a long, slow 'I haven't seen you all day' fuck under the slate covered duvet, they finally decided it's time.

It only took one line.

Just one line.

They sat upright in their bed, Justin's back leaning against Brian's slightly sweaty chest.

Justin tried to relax, feeling Brian's fingers on the small of his back, and down between his butt cheeks. It felt weird for Justin not to feel his partner's finger on that sweet spot behind his balls. Brian felt that as well, but he had to hold back. It wasn't the right time. Justin looked straight into those hazel eyes for approval. He leaned over and kissed the taller man's lips. That was all the approval Brian needed.

Brian brought his laptop to his knees and typed a few sentences into his email box and then set the laptop aside. Justin rolled onto his back, spreading his knees wide, to welcome Brian into his body.

They made slow, tender love until the first rays of fall slipped through the huge window and gently touched their bodies.

"I hate having to wait so long," Justin pointed out a week after Brian's email. Brian seemed more agitated than usual, but they both tried to get on with their daily lives

Justin was busy with some year-end art project and a new piece for a show at some new contemporary art gallery in Pittsburgh.

Brian had to deal with some more new accounts, and to his surprise, Cynthia's upcoming wedding.

Brian still kept in touch with Crystal Vance every couple of weeks as her due date grew closer. He was excited for Justin, for himself, to become parents. Before Brian left for work the next day, he sipped the guava juice and nodded towards Justin as the younger man reminded him they should contact a lawyer as soon as possible if they wanted to do it right.

Justin beamed at Brian with his sunshine smile, sat on the taller man's lap and moved his finger across his jawline. Brian's cock twitched as he leaned over and whispered in the blond's ear, "Don't worry about it, Mr. Taylor-Kinney."

"God, I wish Smelly Melly would reply to this fucking email," He blurted out suddenly. "I just can't wait to tell Gus," he added after a silent pause.
