Part 1

"Remember that one time we all wanted to spend a weekend at P. town but then you were in a relationship and you thought you're too cool to be queer because you've seen the light?" Brian asks, pushing his tongue into his cheek pointing at Michael and Emmett respectively with the edge of his beer bottle.

"Those were the days." Ted nods and puts his head on Blake's shoulder.

"Speak for yourself, Theodore." Brian snarks. "I'm still young and beautiful."

"Sure you are. But honey aren't you a married man now?" Emmett teases.

"Shut up, bitch." Brian sticks out his tongue. He's clearly not amused.

"I think what Emmett means is that you and Justin moved into a more committed phase of your relationship now." Ben explains calmly.

"Oh, come on, not you too professor. Plus Justin isn't here. He's in fucking New York City now, he's making it, living his dream. The American dream." Brian takes one last gulp of his beer and asks the bar tender for a shot of Beam.

Michael takes out a silent sigh and touches Brian's arm.

Brian pushes the bar stool and walks outside. Michael follows few minutes later and they stand outside Woody's in the thick summer air.

"Look at them." Brian sighs. "herds of fine young unsuspecting guys. They have no idea, do they?"

"No." Michael answers.

"Some of them look reasonably fuckable, actually." Brian says, taking a drag of smoke from his cigarette.

"Why are you doing it to yourself?" Michael asks.

"Doing what? It was our mutual decision. It's what Justin and I agreed on. I'm sure he's fucking his brains out somewhere as we speak, being that's It's Pride weekend in NYC, equal rights and all that shit." Brian pauses and lets out another sigh.

"Tell you what… It's 4th of July next weekend so why don't we all go somewhere to celebrate?" Michael suggests.

"Thanks, Mikey, I think I'll pass this time. But you and the Professor deserve to enjoy yourselves. Go ahead, book yourself a nice weekend." Brian curls his lips inward and smiles.

I was planning on posting a chapter a day (or every other day... ) but now with LJ acting up on me and slowing down because of that 'script' thing IDK when I might be posting the rest. I hope it goes away asap.
