Part 6- Have Serious Conversation.

"Don’t go to bed angry.” Justin asks quietly.

Brian shrugs his shoulders. He turns his face away from Justin and rolls to the other side of the bed.

"Brian… please." Justin tries again.

None of them meant to pick a fight earlier that evening. They were actually having a serious conversation.

"Brian… please, let's try to resolve this before we go to sleep." Justin knows Brian is probably trying to hang on to sleep as defense mechanism.

Justin hates the bitter taste their conversation left in his mouth. He can literally taste it on his tongue and feel it in his guts but since they both decided long ago not to let things go unnoticed he knows they had to have that conversation. He knows how important it was for Brian.

"I know it's not easy facing a big blowout… but shit happens from time to time… we're only human." Justin almost whispers.

The sleeping form beside him slightly moves under the duvet.

"I… thought I heard you mention blowout?" Brian's husky voice somehow calms Justin down.

Much later that night as Justin resurface from under the duvet his fingers are firmly entwined with Brian's, their platinum bands brash against each other's.

"Thanks." Brian mouths , rubbing his lips with Justin's in the dark.

"My pleasure" Justin smiles and licks his lips ."I love you, you big jerk."

"You too" Brian answers in a sleep filled voice.
