"What's all this?" Michael asks when he notices all the clothes and other items scattered all over Mel and Lindsay's living room.
"Gus and JR both landed some very important roles in the Hebrew school Purim play this year," Mel explains proudly while she helps Gus get into a two-piece black suit and a white dress shirt.
"What's that, the Jewish version of The Blues Brothers?" Michael asks jokingly.
"It's actually our own production of Fiddler on the Roof," Gus answers while Mel fixed the black cap on his head and started painting his beard. "I'm playing Tevya, which is the leading role!" he continues, excitedly.
"And I'm playing the elder sister," JR says as she came running downstairs, wearing a long grey skirt, black long-sleeved shirt, and an apron. She had a scarf wrapped tightly around her head.
"Aren't you proud, Dad?" she asks, twirling with her skirt quietly humming 'Matchmaker, Matchmaker, make me a match.'
"I am, Honeybun." Michael smiles at his daughter.
"Just make sure Brian doesn't have a front row seat," he whispers at Mel.
"Brian is a big boy, he can handle it," Lindsay says, walking in from the kitchen carrying a cardboard cut out of a violin painted in brown. Michael immediately recognizes the artist behind that crafty stage prop.
"I'm sure Justin will see to that." He laughs and nodded to the girls.
"Ready guys?" Mel tries to rush them all.
"You go ahead. Ben and I will meet you there," Michael grins.

Date: 2013-02-22 01:27 pm (UTC)At first I saw the black cap on Gale's head in almost every pic from the con, then my older nephew (who's the same age as Gus, btw ) told me he's dressing up as a 'Rabbi' for the holiday so one thing led to another and I just couldn't resist =)
So glad you enjoyed it, it means a lot.
*hugs back*
