It was actually the other way round for me :) I discovered Queer as Folk through another favorite show, Doctor Who because as you may or may not know, Russell T Davies who was the exec producer and head writer at the time, wrote the original Brittish version of QaF so after reading about it and a friend recommended it, I got the DVDs and watched the whole series in a month LOL Shortly after that, I went looking for fic and found LJ which then took on a life of its own. So then it was through my LJ friends that I discovered Adam Lambert because they were always talking about him while he was on Idol so when his CD came out, I thought I would check it out. I loved his music right away but it wasn't till after I saw him perform his Glam Nation show in October that this new obsession with him as well as Tommy took over. I have since gone back and watched all his AI performances and many GNT performances via YouTube too ;)
I have gotten to know many wonderful friends through the QaF/Adam fandoms as well and I am happy that I can now call you one :)
I love music,byt Adam is such a uniqe artist, and I think the most important thing about him,for me, is that he feels comfortable in his own skin, and this is one thing he's got in common with BJ (among other things ) I like Tommy, but Adam is ... like wow! *hugs you back* V.
Adam is definitely the most amazing singer out there at the moment! :) I also love his philosophys on life eg doing what makes you happy regardless of what others think. He is so wonderful &hearts
