I watch the way he tucks his perfectly shaped head into the pillow.

I see his petit naked body, his ivory colored shoulder blades slowly rising with every quiet breath he takes.

I see his hands curled under his chest and wish I was there under that sweet warmth.

I see his closed eyelashes slightly dancing as he's probably trying to avoid another bad memory or savor a happier one.

I see his sea shell ear glistening in the early morning sunlight and I hold back the urge to touch him, everywhere, from his forehead all the way down to his toes, stopping at his beautiful cock and then up to his partially open lips.

I touch him just enough to know his fever has gone down but not enough for me to crawl into bed with him.

I smile and I bend over to pick the clothes he scattered on the floor. Then I noticed his blanket. He brought it over from his mother's house when we moved into our house.

I tuck the edges of the blanket around him and gently trace his jaw line with my fingers. He'll remember it when he wakes up later today.
