"I hope you're not too upset," Justin said quietly after Jennifer studied his platinum wedding band.
"Why should I be?"
"You weren’t very happy when we called the wedding off. I know you wanted to be there. We decided to have a small ceremony this time, just Brian and me at City Hall in New York."
"Oh Justin, I'm sure it was beautiful." Jennifer pulled Justin into a tight hug, her arms wrapped around his neck.
"No, it was… quick and formal," Justin smiled.
"Yes, but at least it's legal," she answered softly.
"It was worth the wait", Justin nodded.
