I could have gone to Daphne's or stayed at Debbie's until I figured out what to do, but my legs carried me to the loft.
I still had the keys.

I didn't expect to see him there. I thought he would be at Babylon fucking around. I heard him breathing in the dark but I knew he wasn't sleeping.

I wasn't even thinking when I took off my t shirt and pants and climbed into bed with him.

I felt his warm torso pressing into my back as his arms wrapped around me. I couldn't bring myself to turn around and look at his face but I couldn't keep myself away from his embrace.

I closed my eyes.

I wanted to let him know there's no point in placing the blame on either of us and that I suffer just as much as he does.

I wanted to let him know that If I lost him my heart will be broken.

I wanted to tell him he should let the hurt inside of him die and give himself to me so we'll never be apart.

His heart was still frozen. It wasn't the right time.
