Brian's pov

"I just want to spend a quiet evening at home this time", I explained to him , as we
finished our breakfast, "and besides, no one can top last years festivities, right?"

"Well, it just so happened your 40th birthday became a part of our honeymoon last year", Justin purred, "mmm... and speaking of topping..."

I grinned my teeth and adjusted my tie. "Maybe in 10 years time, twat", I said and emptied my guava juice in one gulp.

"... ok, there goes my present, I'll have to think of something else...", Justin flashed his sunshine smile at me, and leaned to give me a birthday kiss.

Justin's pov

After Brian left the drive way I entered my studio. the old pain in my right hand has long gone, so it was much easier for me to draw these days. I reached for my sketch pad and pencils and started drawing.

My cell phone distracted me. I put down the sketch pad, smiled as I noticed the caller ID,and kept staring at a unfinished image of baby Gus on the page. The boy will turn 10 in September,his father turned 41 today.

As I answered the phone I knew right away I found the perfect birthday present for my husband. I knew it's something that would make both of us happy.

Im so-so in 9 days il be back in my house and my ex roommate will be gone. My stories wont be posted for awile do to having no internet. Me.and my boyfriend need to save money for a few months. Hope your doing welk.
