-"Justiiiin, Where were you? I've been trying to reach you ,why didn't you pick up the phone?"

"I'm at the studio Brian. I got a bit carried away while I was painting, I didn't hear you calling…sorry 'bout that. Hold your horses, take a deep breath and try to calm down , "

-"Doesn't look like I can hold ANYTHING right now for that matter, Ghuuuh, Hurry up will you?"

-"You sound weird Brian, is everything okay?"

"I Dunno…"

"Brian? Are you okay? Fuck… I'm in the car now I'm putting you on speaker. Can you try to relax and tell me what happen?"

"I was out by the pool,"

"What were you doing at the pool? You know it hasn't been working in like forever…"

"I.. I don't…"

"Okay, okay, deep breath Brian, talk to me, "

"Gus and Miley had some last minute errands to run before they move into their new house next week so I offered to babysit for Declan,"

"That's so sweet of you Brian,"

"Well, he IS my grandson you know… "

"Well they dropped Declan off here at the house earlier and after a while he asked if I can take him for a swim,"

"Didn't you tell him the pool is closed? He's Four years old, I'm sure he would have understood,"

"No I didn't tell him that. I didn't want to disappoint him,"

"So what happen next? "

"I told him to stay downstairs in the living room and watch TV or something while I was going out to the pool. I took the tool box from the shed and went out there to try and open up the pump and see if I can fix it myself. I noticed it wasn't working because something got stuck in there but the next thing I knew I felt a jet of hot steaming water all over me and not in a positive life affirming way. I tried to shield my face and that's when the water hit my arm…"

"Oh my god Brian… how bad is it?"

"It's quite nasty to tell you the truth…"

"Where is Declan now?"

"He's here taking a nap but there's nothing much I can do now because it hurts pretty bad. I called Gus and then I obviously called you,"

"Sorry I didn't pick up. Did you put something on your arm?"

"I tried but it didn't work,"

"Brian? I'm home. Are you in the living room?"

"No, I'm up here in the bedroom. Gus and Miley just picked Declan up and they helped me upstairs. I told them I didn't need any help but they insisted…"

"Okay, I'm coming up,"

"At last! What took you so long?"

"I stopped by the drag store just now to get you some stuff, "

"You shouldn't have done that. I don't need for you to buy me any of these things,"

"Oh so it's just going to go away?"

"You're SO smart,"

"And you're SO stubborn. Okay, let's see now. Man, it does look pretty nasty here. Let me rub that ointment on you and then wrap it up. Hold still for a few minutes until I finish,"

"That might prove to be a bit challenging,"

"I will once I know you're getting better. I still can't understand why you thought you could fix that thing. What were you trying to prove anyway? You never had the knack for these sort of things. Heck you can't even change a flat tire…"

"As Emmett kept reminding me over and over again…"

"But I can still remember it very well. The thought of you running off to New York City like that, what were YOU thinking? "

"I was Seventeen Brian and by the way YOU chased me all the way there but anyway… that was in the past, I'm talking about the present. I can't understand why you would do something so stupid and reckless while Dec was staying with you in the house. I mean… YOU are a Sixty Five year old man,"

"So?"

"SO?!... so what if the whole thing didn't end up with just a few burns on your arm?"

"Dec wanted to go for a swim and I wanted to show him that nothing is impossible once you set your heart to it,"

"Oh so now you've turned into Debbie?"

"No smart ass this is something I've always believed in. Come to think of it this was a bit irresponsible but life's not worth living if you don't take risks ya know, "
