Part 3

"God, what took you so long?" A voice on the other end of the line sounds edgy.

"He wouldn't get off." Justin explains.

"Well, that's a first. Okay, now let's move on here. There's a lot to be done. I hope you didn't tell him anything." The person says.

"Wait a minute, Michael! I'm in charge here. I'm only letting you in on this because you are his oldest friend." Justin smiles.

"Watch it kido." Michael sounds a bit more relaxed. "So I did what you asked me to do and asked him about going to P.town over the 4th of July weekend." He continues.

"Fuck! Did you have to be that obvious? Now he would never agree to travel there." Justin protests.

"Don't worry, boy wonder. Apparently your boyfriend brought it up himself earlier in our conversation. He was reminded of a time we wanted to go there way back when." Michael replies.

"You did? Where was I way back when by the way?" Justin teases.

"You were about to graduate from high school, as I recall." Michael says.

"Haha… very funny. Anyway, I think all is not lost. P.town is so last century. Fire Island is all the rage now. Plus It's only about an hour drive for me and a few hours drive for you." Justin explains, tactically avoiding Michael's remarks.

"So, I guess you already took care of everything." Michael points out.

"Everything." Justin can't hide his excitement. "All you guys need to do is convince Mr. Fabulous to show up."

"That would be a piece of cake." Michael lets out a short laugh.

Hi, V! Had to play a little catchup with the story (Ch. 2 and 3). Really enjoying the buildup here as Brian's partner and his best friend conspire against him.;) Looking forward to the next part of this - it will help to keep me from going crazy, since it's been practically raining nonstop for the past three days here!
