"You made breakfast so I could sleep in a little?" Justin smirks as he draggs his bare feet across the kitchen's hardware floor. "Usually it's my job…"

"Well… you know me…" Brian smiles and leans over the kitchen counter to plant a sloppy kiss on his partner's lips. "I figured… what if I got up early and treat him to some egg white omlet and wheat toast ? He would pay me back later… wouldn't he?"

" You look great in that new outfit." Brian mentions, stretching his naked body under the covers while Justin is getting dressed in front of the mirror on Monday morning.

"Of course I do. You picked it up for me, remember?" Justin beams back at his partner.

"Oh… you know. I thought a pair of tight dark blue jeans would look great on your tight little ass as you walk into your new office first thing in the morning." Brian states the obvious.

"Shut up!" Justin giggls.

"Make me!" Brian whispers mischievously.

"Getting up early for the morning yoga class? Wow… I'm so proud of you." Brian says as he notice Justin is getting ready to leave the house wearing his buggy clothes and carrying a mattress.

"I already told you it's a free class. You can join me." Justin answers, enjoying Brian's understated compliment.

"Naahh… It's okay. Go with Daphne. But don't worry, Sunshine. You and I will have our own little session later on".

"So now we have to plan a date night?" Brian asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Well… before tackling the logistics of when to spend more quality time together, we first need to define what we consider quality time to be." Justin answers at the other end of the line.

"Okay, let's see… my guess is you may look forward to spending your Friday night cuddled up on the couch with a movie, but I may need a more engaging activity." Brian says.

" And there I was thinking you would go for uninterrupted, TV-free conversation over dinner… A fun board game… A walk around the park together…" Justin sounds rather amused.

"Umm… well, that too." Brian smiles to no one in particular and nodds to Cynthia and Ted as they stepped into his office carrying huge stuck of papers.

"I really think you should make quality time a priority, not something you do if you find yourself with a few hours to kill every few months." Ted points out before they entered the conference room.

"God, not you too, Theodore…" Brian tries to protest.

"I mean it, Bri. I think you and Justin could actually enjoy it. Blake and I tried it too. Take turns planning date nights every week or whatever frequency you agree on, put it on the calendar, and stick to it." Ted explains.

"Oh, I definitely plan to stick to it." Brian whispers with a tongue in cheek as he waves politely to their potential new clients.

"That was great..." Brian says, still penting heavily. "Good thing you're always in the mood for a spontaneous quickie.” he whispers, gliding his hand across Justin's back as they stand under the warm spray of water.

"I love when you still surprise me by hopping in the shower with me." Justin moans, resting his head on the tinted glass door. "How about we do that again this Saturday when we’re not rushed to get ready for work?” he asks, planting a small wet kiss on Brian's chin.

"Why wait 'till then?" Brian says, gently capping Justin's ass.

"Did you know it only takes 20 seconds of hugging to start the flow of oxytocin, the cuddle hormone ?" Justin lifts his head from the pillow and turns to face Brian.

"No shit, you twat..." Brian grinns at his overzealous partner.

"It's a scientific fact. The release of oxytocin makes partners feel connected and loved. It's highly recommended to hug your significant other for at least 20 seconds first thing in the morning." Justin continues, wrapping his arms around Brian's torso.

Brian slightly rolls his eyes but doesn't seem to object.

"What was that for?" Brian asks after a lingering hug from Justin when he walks in the door after a long day at work.

"Oh, nothing..." Justin smiles and licks his lips. "And by the way we need to go grocery shopping."

"Was that part of your scientific research just now?" Brian quietly inquires as the blond reached over for a squeeze while they stand in line at the cashier.

"Donno… was it?" Justin answers back with a smile.
