Lindsay always said he looked so much like me. Mel said I was selfish. Justin said I'm not my father. I feel so empty, sitting here, staring at pictures from Gus' early years.
I try not to give up, but sometimes I just need a second to breathe. I want to hug him and let him know I'll try to make it work and not let him down, but I can't help it sometimes. Even with all of the flights to Toronto or talking to him on the phone or sending him presents for his birthday, I'm still not around.
