Justin saw the early spring rain through the window in his studio. He was feeling uninspired.
Needing a distraction, he rummeged through the old trunk in the corner.

Some paper, containing Brian's handwriting, caught Justin's eye. The date read May 29, 2001.
A day he himself wanted to remember.

"Here comes the rain again. Raining in my head like a tragedy, tearing me apart like a new
emotion. I want to talk like lovers do I want to dive into your ocean. Is it raining with
you?"

The last line was faded with what seemed to be a tear drop.

"thanks for picking me up." Justin thankfully gazed into his partner's eyes.

Brian looked down at the man beneth the blond mop of messy hair and bit his lip.

Justin was clearly upset.

"When did Emmett call you?" Brian asked, wrapping his arm around Justin.

"About an hour ago, but I already knew."

It was getting chilly. Justin grabbed at Brian's leather jacket and reached out to hold his
hand as they walked towards the 'Vett.

They drove in silence through the city streets.

"She was the only real women I ever loved," Brian whispered as they reached Emmet's
place.
