the Golden Globes and other stuff
Jan. 17th, 2011 06:53 pmso I kept my long tradition and stayed up to watch the Golden Globes live telecast,which meant waking up at 3am my time.
I loove those beautiful creative people who give us all those places to go to,whether it's on the big screen or on the small screen. I love how Hollywood peeps know how to thanks their own during the award season ( even though the GG are handed out by the Holywood Forgein Press )but most of all I love it when a rather small non commercial movie wins awards and recognition.
that's what happened with "the kids are allright".I haven't watched it,but I've heard about it and about it's subject matter. oh,my,a movie about two lesbians and their (not mutual ) kids? where would we go from here? ;)
and btw,I simply hated Natalie Portman's ugly dress,heavy make up and mid 50's hair do. I think therewere other women there,twice her age (hmm ) who looked much better.Sandra Bullok wasn't one of them LOL
oh,and my bolved Chris Culfer aaaand Colin Firth both won!!
