Gus loved to cuddle in the huge bed on Sunday mornings, sandwiched between the two grown-ups whose fingers were entwined as their arms encircled him, radiating warmth and love

When I was around four years old I would climb up on my parents' bed and play bathtub, with one of them on either side being the bathtub walls, and I would pretend to splash in between them.
