"Why do you think beer and nuts go so well together, especially when watching FOOTBALL or SOCCER or whatever the fuck?" Justin ponders as he's piling more bowls of said refreshment onto the table.

At first they were contemplating if they should show patriotic support to the American soccer team by driving into town and stopping by at Woody's where a reply of the game was shown on large screens but to everyone's surprise it was Brian who overruled that initial plan and suggested they would all stay put in his and Justin's country house to watch the match on their TV screen from their specious patio instead, so they did.

"Maybe it's some sort of a comprehensive gay scheme to conquer yet another uncharted realm of the straight world," Ted points out. The guys are still seated comfortably around the large table in the patio. Justin had switched the garden lights on earlier and they're all sitting outside enjoying the early summer night breeze, with some familiar thumph thumpa tunes in the background for old time's sake.

"You have a point there Teddi," Emmett giggles "I mean I'm NOT a beer guy, you all know that but I'm definitely into nuts," he smirks and nods towards Drew.

"Oh please, Honeycutt! can you be even MORE cheesy and stereotypical than you already are?" Brian shrugs and pulls his lips inward.

"I'm NOT going to dim my flame if that's what you're implying Brian," Emmett snorts back."Now is as good as time as any to let it shine even brighter!" he exclaims.

"Here, Here!" Ted cheers his long time friend on, putting another handful of assorted nuts in his mouth.

"Now slow down Theodore," Brian intervenes "Remember what happened to you back in the day when you were trying to speak while having nuts in your mouth?" he winks and taps his friend's shoulder.

"When was THAT, Ted?" Blake sounds intrigued.

"You just couldn't keep your big mouth shut, couldn't you Bri?" Ted tries to protest as Brian gloats playfully at him.

"It's okay, I don't mind hearing those old stories," Blake smiles.

"It was back in Babylon. We were at some Pride party or whatever the fuck, " Micheal chimes in.

"I can't remember since we were there literally every weekend and I was SO busy getting rejected," Ted notes, "But anyway there I was, and there was this hot guy looking at me from high above the catwalk probably laughing at my lame attempts of hitting on every other guy there while grabbing some nuts from the bar. REAL nuts not the OTHER kind…" Ted explains.

"And so when that guy surprised him and actually made eye contact old Theodore here completely lost it and almost choked," Brian says with a giggle.

"It's NOT funny Brian," Justin says knowingly.

"Oh but you pulled through quite well didn't you, Theodore?" Brian turns to his long time friend and CFO to shake his hand.

"I hope you didn't mind me giving you that one particular priceless advice, " He tells Ted after a slight pause.

"Not at all, Bri. I ALWAYS appreciated your advice. I still do," Ted answers.

"Wait- what was that advice? Lemme guess…" Justin says. "Was it When you have nuts in your mouth swallow, DON'T Chew???" the blond bursts into a sudden laughing spree. "God, it IS priceless. And TRUE!"

"Indeed it is," Brian approves, leaning over towards the blond, leaving a sloppy kiss on his mouth. " YOU know me too well," he whispers in the younger man's ear and slaps on his ass in a rare public display of affection Brian Kinney style.

"Another round of nuts and beer anyone?" Justin smiles somewhat sheepishly at their friends as he pulls back from Brian.

"Don't mind if I do," Emmett answers "But honey, could you please make mine another Cosmo instead?"
