We're doing great. The baby is just amazing," Justin reported to Lindsay over the phone, "but…" he paused.

"Lack of sleep?" she asked.

"As Brian always says, when we're in bed we never get much sleep anyway, but…it's…"

"Sex, right?" Lindsay replied right back.

Justin didn't even have to deny it. "It's so weird. I mean we make out a little when he sleeps but we're not… we haven't been…" Justin mumbled, like he was still a teenager.

"Listen, I think the best way to deal with it is just to get away for a few days, maybe just for the weekend. It will be good for you. For both of you," she said softly.

Brian smirked when Justin called him later to update him on his conversation with Lindsay. "I'm not leaving a four week old baby behind to go on an all expense paid fuck fest," Justin tried to resist the suggestion.

"I'm sure your mom would love to watch him for us for 72 hours," Brian whispered into Justin’s ear.

"I don't know… I think she and Tucker are planning to go away this weekend." Justin was glad Brian couldn’t see all of the conflicting thoughts running across his face.

"Sure, honey, I'd love to take care of Adam. That sounds wonderful!" Jennifer sounded pleased at the other end of the line.

"Have you been talking to my mom already, Brian?" Justin inquired. He was sitting in the living room, cradling baby Adam in one arm, with his cell phone in his other hand, as he gazed into the garden that stood in full bloom.

"Um… maybe I did. Now start packing," Brian ordered playfully.

"We travel light, remember?" Justin giggled. He loved his life.
