Part 9
-Days in the Sun set, early morning – a couple of weeks later-
Brian's POV
"Is everything okay, Bri?" Emmett approaches me as I stand beside the craft service table between takes.
"Sure," I answer. "Why do you ask?"
"I just wanted to make sure you're okay with your recent storyline, that's all," Emmett explains. But I suspect there it more to it than that.
"It's going well so far," I reply tentatively. "Plus, I just have to stand there and look pretty. It's Justin who has the really hard work of filming everything twice with his evil twin," I reply with a slight smirk.
"I'm glad you're not finding it too strenuous," Emmett teases me with a smile. "And by the way, I would suggest a few more spins on the elliptical later on. You have a nude scene with Justin coming up. Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you'll measure up to your twink."
I frown. "Excuse me, Emmett, but I've been here since the crack of dawn, we still have a long day ahead, and I'm already fucking tired. So let me make sure I heard you right. A nude scene with Jus…?" I manage to ask.
"Justin, yes, you heard me right. Ted and I thought it might be a ratings bonanza to go that route. We pitched the idea to the network bosses, and they gave us the green light. We thought it would be an interesting and exciting challenge for the two of you and your characters. We'll have a cast meeting before the big scene, and Ted and I will explain everything to you and to Justin so you’ll feel comfortable enough to play it to the camera. But for now I must leave you, dear boy. I must go check on Justin before his big evil twin scene. Later, Brian," he chirps out to me as he turns around and hurries off, leaving my mouth hanging open with stunned surprise.

-An hour later, Justin's trailer-
Brian’s POV
"Did you know what they’re planning on doing?" I ask my blond partner as I barge in without even bothering to knock on the door.
"Hey, yourself," He replies in amusement, looking as fresh and sweet as he did when he woke up beside me in my bed earlier this morning.
"Emmett just spoke to me about…" I stop mid-sentence and move closer to him.
"…our upcoming nude scene. Yes, I know. He just told me about it," Justin explains, the large, crystal-clear blue orbs almost melting my heart and making my cock dance with joy.
"Take it easy, tiger," Justin giggles as he squeezes my cock in reaction, and I let out an involuntary groan.
"What if I don't want to take it easy?" I whisper huskily, throwing both of us down onto the couch. I bury my nose in the crook of his neck, sniffing the fresh, clean scent of his skin, and the sweet, invigorating aroma of his hair. He turns his face towards me, kisses me sweetly on my lips and then reluctantly pulls back.
"Don't you have anything to say about it?" I ask.
"About what?" He looks at me, biting his ripe, luscious lips.
"THAT scene," I explain to him like he was a five-year-old.
"There's nothing to say. It's a scene. You're my scene partner. We'll get it over with in no time, don't worry. Emmett said we might have to wear cock socks. That should give you something to worry about. Those fuckers are so uncomfortable," he says, looking quite amused at my less-than-enthusiastic expression.
I'm not amused, to say the least.
"I thought we were more than just scene partners, Justin," I tell him. "Fuck we're practically dating. I thought it meant something to you."
"It means a LOT to me, Brian. I thought you knew that by now. I've never had that with ANYONE before, but… it's also our job and we must be professional," he replies.
"Fuck!" I let out a frustrated cry. "Why must things get so complicated? We're ACTORS who play two men who fall for each other, but are too scared to admit it. Why can't we feel more open and secure about it off set?"
"So far I think we’ve proven to each other that we feel quite comfortable…" he maintains, caressing my jaw line.
"In private, but NOT in front of everybody," I point out, gently grabbing the finger that's caressing me.
"It's complicated," my blond lover says quietly.
"Move in with me, Justin. My penthouse is big enough for both of us, and you're actually there most days and nights anyway. I want you there," I tell him, letting out a deep breath, relieved to finally get that out in the open. I had been contemplating it for weeks now, but had never had the courage to actually utter it aloud.
"You don't have to do that just to prove to the world that we're officially a couple, Brian," he answers me, but I can tell he's overwhelmed with emotion just as much as I am.
"That's NOT the reason I'm doing this. I'm asking you because I…I really…"
"Fifteen minutes, Mr. Taylor," a production assistance announces from behind the closed door, interrupting us.
"Fuck!" I say in frustration as I grit my teeth.
"They can wait,” Justin responds quietly as he stares into my eyes. What were you about to say?" he presses me, his eyes lit with what appears to be an encouraging glow – at least I hope so.
"I …really care about you,” I admit to him as I press our lips together. We kiss for several seconds before pulling back. “Move in with me, Justin,” I urge him.
I see hesitation on his face as he replies, "I'd LOVE to move in together, Brian, but you know that people will talk. Are you ready for that?"
"Let them. I don't think we need to explain anything to anyone but ourselves," I tell him firmly. But inside, a tendril of fear still remains.
