"You can turn on the lights now, Brian," Justin says.

"I can't." Brian's voice sounds distant.

"Where are you, dad?" Gus asks.

"Down in the basement…" he says.

"Okay, the party's over you can come out now," Justin giggles.

"It's not funny, Justin. The power went off, and it's not just a blown breaker," Brian tries to explain.

"Are you scared, dad?" Gus asks.

"Don't be silly, Sonny boy."

"Hang in there, Dad. Justin's looking for candles, a flashlight, hot blankets, juice, and some snacks," Gus reports.

"Are you going camping?"

"No! We're coming down to keep you company," Gus explains.
